Applications for our 8th Cohort of New Brunswick P-TECH Engineers will open on October 15, 2025!
The New Brunswick P-TECH High School is a specialized academy focusing on engineering technology. Students who attend P-TECH will take all regular high school graduation requirements and will also enroll in one of three programs at Middlesex College: mechanical engineering technology, electrical engineering technology or civil engineering technology. Students who apply should have a strong interest in one or more STEM fields: science, technology, engineering or mathematics. In particular, students should have excellent proficiency or a strong interest in mathematics. Engineering Technology is a creative field that utilizes math and science as the basis for problem-solving. All eighth-grade students who live in New Brunswick are eligible to apply. Enrollment is based on a lottery. Students who do not complete the entire application will not be entered into the lottery.
Complete the entire application with your parent or guardian no later than Friday, January 30, 2026. The lottery will be held on Friday, Februray 27, 2026 at 1:30 pm.
All students who are accepted must attend the Cohort 8 Orientation on Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 6 - 8 pm AND must attend the Summer Bridge Program at PTECH for four weeks in July & early August.

La escuela secundaria New Brunswick P-TECH es una academia especializada que se enfoca en la ingeniería. Los estudiantes que asisten a P-TECH cumplirán con todos los requisitos regulares de graduación de la escuela secundaria y también se inscribirán en uno de los tres programas de Middlesex College: ingeniería mecánica, ingeniería eléctrica o ingeniería civil. Los estudiantes que presenten la solicitud deben tener un gran interés en al menos un campo STEM: ciencia, tecnología, ingeniería o matemáticas. Complete la solicitud completa con su padre o tutor a más tardar el viernes 30 de enero 2026. El sorteo se realizará el viernes 27 de febrero 2026 a las 1:30 p.m.
Todos los estudiantes aceptados deben asistir a la Orientación del Cohorte 8 el jueves 9 de abril 2026 de 6 a 8 p. m. Y deben asistir al Programa Puente de Verano en PTECH durante cuatro semanas en julio y principios de agosto.
